Waiting at the airport is bad enough, let alone dealing with delays. That’s why, with flight delays of 2hrs or more, you can get £25 per person transferred to your bank account to help make things a little better.
Available with Wanda Plus and Single Trip Premier travel insurance.
Step 1
Head to the Flight Delay portal via your Wanda by Avios policy dashboard or Flight Delay email. Add your flight number and departure date, plus any travel companions who are also insured under your Wanda by Avios policy.
Make sure you register it at least 24 hours before your flight is scheduled to take off.
Step 2
Once your trip’s registered, we’ll automatically monitor your flight’s departure time.
If it’s delayed by 2 hours or more, you’ll get a text and email with instructions. (Psst: you’ll need to have an active internet connection or roaming enabled).
Step 3
Tap the link in the text or email and provide bank account details for where you’d like to receive your £25 per traveller.
It’s our little way of making flight delays slightly less stressful.
